HOLIDAY SPINACH SALAD
5 oz Spinach, whole leaf with stem removed
4 oz
ALDER MARKET SPINACH SALAD DRESSING
1 oz Pecans, whole or pieces (5 whole pecans per person)
1 oz Dried Cranberries
3/4 oz Sweet red onions sliced
4 oz Mandarin Oranges (6 oranges per person)
Directions:
Prep ingredients as listed
Toss de-stemmed spinach with dressing and place on salad plate
Top spinach with sliced red onions, mandarin oranges and pecans
Serve immediately


AVOCADO & CITRUS SALAD
1 Bunch Fresh Butter Lettuce
1 Medium Fresh, Ripe Avocado
1/2 Small Red Onion, Thinly Sliced
1 Small Can Mardarin Oranges (substitute fresh orange section if desired)
1 Tsp Fresh Ground Pepper
To taste
ALDER MARKET SPINACH SALAD DRESSING
Directions:
Clean and tear the Butter Lettuce, then toss with THE ALDER MARKET SPINACH SALAD DRESSING and arrange on serving platter.
Thinly slice the avocado lengthwise.
Arrange all ingredients on the butter lettuce and top with fresh ground pepper. Serves 2.


BARBEQUED SHRIMP
4 oz Prawns (21-25)
1 oz Salted Butter
1 Tsp
ALDER SEASONING SALT
Directions:
Peel, review, skewer prawns.
Grill over medium heat until they start to turn pink.
Remove from skewer, toss with melted butter and ALDER SEASONING SALT. Serves 3.



FRENCH FRIES
12 oz French Fries
8 Cups Shortening
1 1/3 Tsp
ALDER SEASONING SALT
Directions:
Peel and slice russet potatoes into strips 2 1/4 in. long and about 3/8 in. wide (or buy frozen potatoes already prepared for frying.)
Hold fresh potatoes in 90º salted water for 15 min. to retain color.
Heat shortening to 365º. Place well-drained potatoes into frying basket.
Fry for about 3-5 min. until golden brown and crisp.
Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with ALDER SEASONING SALT.
